Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God, both necessary and sufficient for all things and all people. Psalm 119:11, 105; Luke 24:44; 2 Timothy 3:16-17
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1, 2, 26; John 10:30; Ephesians 4:6; 1 Timothy 2:5
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4; Philippians 2:5-8; 1 Peter 5:4; Titus 2:13, Revelations 2:8), in his virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:34), in His sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; 1 John 3:5), in his miracles (John 11:40-42; 14:12), in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood (Romans 3:25; 1 John 2:2), in His bodily resurrection (John 11:25), in His ascension (Acts 1:11), to the right hand of the Father (Luke 22:69) and His personal physical return to earth in power and glory (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Acts 1:11)
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that this salvation is received through faith in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior and not as a result of good works. Ephesians 2:8, 9; Titus 3:5
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works. Ephesians 2:10; John 3:5; Galatians 5:22, 23
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 1 Corinthians 15:12-42; Revelation 20:11-15
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. John 17; Romans 10:12; Galatians 3:28, 29
